November 2018 round-up
November was a quiet month after New York Comic-Con, with us preparing all our end of year lists at MultiversityComics.com. The big news of course, was the passing of Stan the Man Lee, whose obituary I had mostly written up months in advance:

Follow along here for my colleagues’ columns on Harry Potter and Animorphs. My weekly recaps of Legends of Tomorrow and Black Lightning also continued. I’m actually rather behind on my comics reading this month, but I did read the final issue of “Transformers: Lost Light,” which I devoted enough praise for its own section here:
I’m continuing to enjoy Netflix and all it offers (especially She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and Dark, which I watched this month), and I’m very excited by the diverse animation plans the service has. I’m delighted to see this list of this month’s announcements went out-of-date very quickly:

On a further personal note, I saw Florence and the Machine at the O2, wonderful, even with the stadium’s terrifyingly steep upper seats:
Also at home I played Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which is nowhere as good as the previous two, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which is as awesome as Origins (I love debating with Sokrates — or do I?).
